Individual Membership
All faculty, registered students, researchers and research centre members in Institutional Member organisations are automatically members of the Irish Academy of Management. To check in your institution is a member please click here.
Individual Membership of the Irish Academy of Management is open to academic members of staff and postgraduate research students of Commerce, Business, Management and Social Science faculties in Universities or other institutes of third level education, together with others who are concerned with the development and sharing of a research-knowledge base for all subjects dealing with all types of organisations be they statutory, voluntary, or commercial.

Virtual and In-person Event Series
IAM hold a series of events each year including, International keynote speaker events, development workshops, and career advisory panels.

Our Newsletter is designed to keep you, our members, updated on current activities and future planned events. As a member you will receive an Newsletter with information and updates on IAM events. It also includes Conference updates, calls for papers, job opportunities, announcements and events of interest to members.
Doctoral Colloquium
Each year, the IAM Annual Conference is preceded by a Doctoral Colloquium. Members of the academy who are PhD students can benefit from this one day event.
Early Career Development Programme
This programme is a cornerstone of the IAM Strategy (2020-2025), designed to support early career academics in their chosen career path. Specialist workshops, career advisory panel sessions and keynote speakers are included in the annual programme.
Annual Conference
The IAM Annual Conference is the key annual event for management researchers in Ireland and abroad. Please note that the conference fee includes IAM membership.
Council and Network
The IAM is the leading professional association for management studies research and education on the island of Ireland. It promotes the advancement of research, knowledge, and education in the field of organisation and management studies. Membership of the Academy provides the opportunity to meet and dialogue with Council and the IAM academic research community.
Awards
Members receive information and notification of our annual Awards and the process for making nominations under the categories outlined.
International Academy Network
IAM have strong links to sister academies - the British Academy of Management and the European Academy of Management. We hold joint events with our sister academies each year.
