This workshop was designed to help researchers hone the skills of writing academic papers for publication. It focused on all the steps involved in the writing process including; mapping the manuscript structure, clarifying the paper purpose and research gap, writing the first draft, the editing and submission process, understanding the review process. During the workshop, attendees explored the paper development process through written exercises and discussions, and start drafting/ refining their own manuscript.

 Doctoral candidates who intend to submit a conference paper in the near future;
 Early career researchers with little or no experience of writing papers for conference submission
