Accounting, Finance and Corporate Governance
The Accounting, Finance and Corporate Governance track highlights papers that examine a wide range of research areas, including CSR, Green Bonds, financial wellbeing, director-shareholder rhetoric, pensions and audit regulation. Papers draw from a variety of research methods, such as surveys, qualitative content analysis, bibliometric research and dramaturgical analysis. The track chairs are Dr Martha O’Hagan-Luff and Dr Neil Dunne, Trinity College Dublin
Education, Teaching and Learning
The aim of the Education, Teaching, and Learning Track is to accept papers on a broad range of issues which are of interest to higher education. Topics which have been included for presentation this year range from cheating websites, generation Z students in the classroom, career/guidance counselling, teaching, and learning software adoption in third-level business education, among others. Track chair is Professor Margaret Linehan, Munster Technological University.
Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management
The Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management track at this year’s Irish Academy of Management Conference offers a unique opportunity to get new insights from leading academics into the impact of entrepreneurship and small business research globally in current times. The track chairs are Dr Shirley Davey (Ulster University) and Dr Simon Stephens (Letterkenny Institute of Technology).
Work, Employment & Organisation
The Work, Employment, and Organisation track at this year’s Irish Academy of Management Conference offers new insights from both leading academics and emerging scholars into current issues in work and employment, with a special consideration of the future of work. Track chairs are Dr Ultan Sherman (University College Cork) and Associate Professor Lisa van der Werff (Dublin City University).

This track offers an opportunity for national and international scholars to debate trends and share insights on management challenges in a range of organisations, from large multinationals to SMEs, state agencies and NGOs. Highlighting papers focusing on issues such as the increasing fluidity of organisational boundaries, international markets and industries impacted by new competitive forces, the reduction of traditional sources of advantage and the increasing pressure on managers for accountability and transparency. Chaired is Dr. Dónal O’Brien (Technological University Dublin).
Technology and Innovation Management
The Technology and Innovation Management track at this year’s IAM Conference brings together a distinguished group of scholars to explore key issues within the Technology and Innovation Management field.
