Dr Christina O’Connor, Dr Mary Curtin and Dr Catriona Burke are honoured to serve as the Co-Chairs of the Irish Academy of Management Conference 2026. We are absolutely delighted to welcome you to this landmark event, which will take place at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, on August, 24th to August 26th, 2026.

The Irish Academy of Management Conference is one of the largest annual gatherings of business scholars and educators on the island of Ireland. In 2026, we will celebrate the success of this Academy with the 30th anniversary of the IAM Conference. This conference is a place where we share research and build meaningful connections across disciplines. Each year, the conference brings together colleagues from across Ireland and beyond to reflect on the changing world of management. For 2026, our theme is Modern Management – Meaningful tomorrow. We believe these are the defining issues as we collectively navigate challenges in business, public policy, sustainability, and society at large.

Whether you are a doctoral student taking your first steps into research, an experienced academic presenting cutting-edge findings, or a practitioner bringing insights from the field, this conference offers a platform to exchange knowledge and spark collaboration.

So why attend the Irish Academy of Management Conference in 2026?

To present your research to a dynamic and supportive audience, to engage with keynote speakers who are shaping the future of management scholarship, to connect with colleagues from Ireland, to participate in developmental workshops, doctoral colloquia, and networking sessions tailored for all career stages and to take part in important conversations about how management research and practice can make a positive difference in society.

And perhaps just as importantly, to enjoy the friendships, conversations and the spirit of community that make the Irish Academy of Management such a special network.
